The Rose Bowl is renowned as an International sporting and entertainment venue. Successfully hosting International cricket matches to the enjoyment of over 20,000 cricket supporters and concert events with up to 35,000 fans in attendance. In 2008, The Rose Bowl hosted 7 live televised domestic games, more than any other county ground.
The Rose Bowl has a proud tradition of hosting International matches, with India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan taking on England in recent years. In September 2009 The Rose Bowl is due to continue this tradition with its forthcoming One Day International between England & Australia.
Being host to the prestigious Twenty20 Cup Finals Day which was held in July 2008 was a huge achievement for The Rose Bowl and is only a stepping stone for the exciting International schedule which is planned for the next few years.
